I am a fine artist working both from life and natural environment. There is a game between me, the subject and the medium. What pigment I will select and where will it go on the flat canvas, what will satisfy what I want to say?
I enjoy oil colour, the mixing quality of the creamy medium: its possibilities, expressiveness and its power. I was busy with life before I discovered painting. Then everything changed and colour took over. Now I am happier than ever, seeing the world differently around me: it’s full of inspiration.
I love learning and over the years I have attended numerous classes and workshops at the Royal Drawing School and Hampstead School of Art in London, as well as classes in Bristol, Italy and America, drawing influence from contemporary artists including Andy Pankhurst, Hugo Grenville, Mary Qian, Clara Drummond, James Lloyd, Valerie Wiffen and Michelle Torrez.
